How do I claim my athlete profile?
Search for your name on the Athletes page, then click "Claim This Profile" on your profile. You'll need to verify your identity through our quick verification process.
Where does ClayScout get its data?
All scores are sourced directly from official sanctioning body records — ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association), NSCA (National Sporting Clays Association), and SCTP (Scholastic Clay Target Program). We do not accept self-reported data.
How are star ratings calculated?
Star ratings are computed algorithmically based on tournament performance, consistency, and competition level. Ratings are updated regularly as new scores are imported. A 5-star rating represents elite, nationally competitive performance.
Is ClayScout free for athletes?
Yes. Every athlete can view their profile, see their scores and rankings, and be discovered by college coaches at no cost.
I found an error in my scores. How do I get it corrected?
Contact us with your name, the tournament in question, and the correct information. We'll verify with the sanctioning body and update our records.
Can college coaches use ClayScout?
Absolutely. Coaches can search for athletes by state, discipline, graduation year, and rating. ClayScout is designed to help coaches discover talent they might otherwise miss.
